Nordine Elabassi, Owner & Stylist
Nordine Elabassi grew up along the Mediterranean seacoast of Morocco, where the influences of European, African and Arabian cultures converge. Long interested in beauty and fashion, Nordine emigrated to the United States in 1982, working two jobs while also attending school. He graduated from cosmetology school, obtained his license and opened his very first salon in Vienna, VA in 1987. In 1992, Nordine expanded his operations to Fairfax, VA, opening a full service salon and day spa that catered to busy clients needing high-quality services to better polish their appearance and find an escape from life's everyday stresses.
An astute businessman, he expanded into the Gainesville marketplace in 2001, creating an oasis of of luxury, comfort and world-class services for his growing clientele. Noticing that many clients were traveling from the Reston-Herndon area to the Fairfax location, he operated the 7,000 square foot Reston Town Center location from October, 2003 to September, 2016. The Nordine Salon & Day Spa location in the Fairfax Mosaic District opened in September, 2013, providing added convenience to clients in the Tysons Corner, Vienna and McLean areas. We're excited to open with the newest Nordine Salon & Day Spa in Reston at Reston Station at the Wiehle Avenue Metro!
Nordine feels blessed by his good fortune in being able to build his American dream, and continuously practices his philosophy that by offering the best service available to clients, he can achieve not only his personal goals but also those of his valued employees. Although Nordine is kept very busy with his three Northern Virginia based salon and day spa locations, he places great importance on giving back to the community and ensuring that he spends quality time with his family.
